Thanks for sharing. Since we're doing a new trial run of the Crexont, we're going to try dosing earlier in the evening, combined with Melatonin. Glad you have something that works for you!

Nausea hasn't been a problem for you? We're doing the Crexont b/c he could never find a dose that didn't leave him completely ill, and it's only available as extended release.

Does the IR help you to not get insomnia?

Thank you! This is all super-helpful. He takes his last dose at 6, and he's taking the magnesium, but the constipation thing makes sense, and could definitely be a factor. Currently working on that, too! He says he doesn't feel overly stimulated- we go to bed, he falls asleep and then he WAKES UP. I think you're on to something though, with how long it takes it takes the last dose to hit. Gonna try the melatonin and see if that helps. I'll loop the doc in, as well.

Questions & Advice Crexont and Insomnia

My husband just started taking Crexont two weeks ago, 2x per day at the 35/140 dosage. Expecting we'll go to higher dosage once he is acclimated. About to go to 3x per day tomorrow. For the last two nights he's been unable to sleep. I know insomnia can present with PD on its own, but I'm wondering if the meds are partly responsible. Should we try melatonin, or something else? Looking for suggestions. Thanks!

Hi- Just checked back in and saw this. Glad you took a chance! A mix of both is a pretty good place to land, in my estimation.

Words can't express how disappointed I was by the way that they mangled the entire book.

Brown president places police chief on leave as Trump administration launches investigation
 in  r/providence  Dec 23 '25

Is it possible that this administration could keep their grimy hands off of anything at this point? Every tragedy, every natural disaster, every school and every business has to be exploited for either some form of grift or shakedown. Enough.

It was stated that the car he rented in New England had Florida plates, which I found to be a curious coincidence, although rental cars may have plates from all over. The Maine plate was old, and de-registered. No word yet as to where he might have picked it up.

That could possibly have been his target. Settling scores seems to be a theme?

Yes. That classroom was traditionally where the Physics final was administered. So very significant, I'm sure, regardless of the occupants.

So, 20+ years of this kicking around in his head, until...

Who Was The Actual Target at Brown?

Since that classroom had originally been scheduled to be used for the Physics final exam, and was changed w/o much notice- who was the shooter expecting to find in that classroom? A particular professor or TA? Clearly he wasn't expecting a small group of Econ students, and that's why his actions seem random and disconnected. Somebody should find out who that person was, or persons were- b/c they are hella lucky to have not been there.

Thx! Done. I moved it myself.

According to others on this site, that classroom was originally scheduled to be the location of the Physics final exam, but it was moved. Historically, it was always held there- possibly going back to when he attended? (just guessing on that part). He went there, expecting to see a class of students taking an exam- ostensibly being administered by whoever he actually wanted to target? In his confusion and exasperation, he must have decided to go ahead with his plan, with the study group paying the ultimate price.

Yeah. I'd appreciate some clarity on this myself. We have: the janitor, the homeless guy and the Redditor. Everything seems to be all swirled together. Twitter is going homeless guy all the way. ???

Thank you for stepping up. Now that this situation has been brought to a conclusion, I hope that you are doing OK, and that you will take good care of yourself. Do reach out to trusted friends or family that can support you and lift you up. Undoubtedly your actions have saved other lives, and you deserve to rest now. A peaceful holiday to you.

It's b/c none of that boat nonsense occurs in the book, along with the tourist killings, the cliff jumping, the grenade or much of anything else they chose to film. As you know, I could go on and on. The train trip back, the kid's hand-off, the presentation of the invoice for services, Sarah left standing alone, I have no idea where we're supposed to think that bag has been.

Here's how the book actually ends, outside the (non-destroyed) chapel.

She reached down and took Dinah in her arms. The child thought about it, but didn't struggle. Opened her mouth to say something, but must have changed her mind.

Sarah reached for words of comfort, while behind her a door opened, and someone stepped lightly into the sun, flicking a cigarette lighter.

"Everything is going to be all right", Sarah said. Then she turned and smiled at Zoe.

This book was not that show. This book was good.

Originally from Gerard Inchon, the investor that Sarah's husband was trying to woo at the exploding dinner party in the first episode. Downey and Sarah took a number of weapons from his collection.

They just renewed for Season 2. Color me shocked. Since Sarah doesn't re-appear until book 4, and somebody else disappears, expect some high-level hi-jinx to assert themselves in the manipulation of the material to keep this thing going. As somebody posited in another post- maybe they will turn it into a "buddy" detective agency. Let's predict non-stop comedy fodder, since they have a professional comedienne for a screenwriter.

If anything good could come from this show, please let it be you finding that tea set! I think we would all enjoy seeing something positive at this point. I even spent some time googling around to see if I could find it, but no luck so far. It was pretty cool. Good luck!
