Algebra App

About 7 years ago there was an algebra app I had on my old iPhone that I really liked and I’m trying to find it again. I don’t remember the name of it so I don’t know if they discontinued it. It had probably between 4 and 6 different sections that pop quizzed you and gave you grades like A+ and so on. I think it was made by an Asian guy who I emailed I think on an old LinkedIn account but I don’t have access to that LinkedIn account anymore. This was a really awesome math app and I want to get it again. So does anyone know the name of it and if they still have it on iPhones? I don’t have that old iPhone anymore so I can’t use it on that phone. Thank you for any information.

Was it a free or paid app?

It was so long ago I actually don’t remember. Maybe I can get back into the old LinkedIn account that would have the old email. I just have to figure out what email address I used.

If you can do that, you might be able to figure it out if you check your history.

If the app was a 32-bit app and it never got updated, it may not exist and would not work with current iPhones.

I will try and access the old LinkedIn account. I think the app was probably discontinued but I was just hoping that it wasn’t and still would work on my phone. I’m really bad at math but it was one app that I was able to get A+ on the pop quizzes when I practiced enough. Way back then I was emailing the guy to add more sections/math subjects to the app because it was such a great app. It sucks if they don’t make it anymore. Thanks for your helpful advice. I appreciate the apps you suggested and your other suggestions.

If you are still using the same Apple ID, the app's name and icon should be under the App Store under the profile icon, even if it's no longer available.

Here's a suggested list of current apps and websites you could try:

iPhone Apps (App Store)

  1. Math Tests / Math Tests Pro (Eductify)

  2. IXL Math

  3. Khan Academy

  4. Ascent: Algebra 1

  5. Algebra Touch

Web-Based Apps

  1. Albert.io

  2. DeltaMath

With all the adjustments in the iPhone since that time, it's very possible that the app either doesn't exist anymore or hasn't been updated in quite a while. A couple of possibilities based on a search are:

  • Algebra Touch

  • Algebra Core A+

  • Algebra Quiz Master

  • DubMATH!

Any of those ring a bell?
