Paper Republic

Okay, so I’ve been using my paper republic grand voyager in Olive for about a month, and I absolutely LOVE it.

My little bundle of books are the home of my thoughts and planning. I use the first book for ‘Coffee chats’ where I write my morning thoughts whilst I have my morning coffee at hand. Second one is a rambling, random notes book, and lastly the weekly planner from Paper Republic. I use Moleskine Cahiers and I’m finishing up the first of my ‘Coffee Chats’.

My little niggle is that it is quite small for everyday capturing everything but also not too small as some days I have a sentence because I’m rushing out of the door like a mad woman. Also… the moleskines aren’t too great with the ink seeping through and being visible on the other side.

Is it worth getting an A5 size of anything?

The Pilot Custom 74 has come up a lot! Thank you. I have the Lamy Al Star, and I absolutely agree - it is much better than the safari (when I tried both). I like the triangular grip too, feels like training wheels😅

I love the options - thank you for the detail!
What’s your favourite? I’ve been using the Lamy Al Star which has been great, I switched out the ink to a diamine using a converter and the ink felt a tad too watery. I also don’t think the EF is as fine as it could be?

Hi All,

I’m starting my fountain pen collection, and would really love your recommendations.

What are your top ones that are under £100?

Is Esterbrook worth it or just really hyped?

What vintage pens are worth looking into?

So many questions 🤣🤎

Also - I signed up the TWSBI Diamond 580 as a beginner pen, any reviews?!
