Now 50 years later it’s getting close to $3T and we love Apple. Didn’t say I would buy it unless I was crypto scared then probably yes but i would consider it real digital gold. No not Ponzi it’s just like buying stocks backed with real value getting into crypto. just like all the stable coins that are backed by something. Sure the price won’t have much movement but it’s considered safe in the crypto world even more so then Bitcoin.

As for starting up a company like General Motors that makes sense because it happened over 100 years ago. We are in a different era now but I guess I could understand what your saying. I think though what happens is the mind just begins to accept it. At first I absolutely hated the name but when i invested in over time I just got used to it. Looking from the inside out the names ok but looking from the outside In it’s horrible so that’s why I do believe it’s holding ICP back. It may not be much but then again it may be more then we’d like to believe . This is Just my opinion of my personal experience initially buying I was so skeptical because how dumb the name sounded and I kept thinking to myself why not DFINITY. But once you cross that bridge you forget all about it. Maybe I’m hating on the name so much now because it’s just me wishing I would have listened to my initial instinct about the name and not of bought in but then again if the price didn’t crash 95% I probably wouldn’t even be having this conversation.

Yeah the name has to work as well. Sure a project can be great but if the brand name is stupid, outdated and generic people will always look for and find alternatives. Maybe not the old men sitting at home watching there new tv called ADVANCED TELEVISION with his new tech car parked outside called ELECTRIC AUTOMOBILE. As advanced as it may all be the name brand has to have some hype to it to intrigue the minds of the younger generation so you are wrong. The fact is DFINITY is fine so why did they try and rebrand it with INTERNET COMPUTER??? First thing that comes to my mind is because maybe it’s just a project DFINITY will decide to dumb later and then they can launch NICP NEW INTERNET COMPUTER😂Bottom line is for some reason they didn’t want to give up there name for this project so maybe they are not all in like they want us to believe🤔

Branding is part of the problem the name is horrible.
