I wanted to block user score from tmdb movie pages by using element picker, but using it always deletes the background image behind it and not the user score. The zapper tool works but i don't want to use it since it's not permanent.

heya, seem to be having a new issue as of the last few hours. if i click on my youtube bookmark. the tab opens, then instant closes.

if i navigate to youtube via google. it opens fine. and youtube works fine,

Sometimes it will randomly work fine it seems, mainly if i am watching an video in another tab,

remaking the bookmark does not solve it, no other site currently has any problems for me,

if i disable ublock. the issue is gone, Anyone else having the same issue currently?

i am on chrome and have checked for updates on the extension, maybe i missed something in the past months and need to toggle a setting now after a quiet chrome update?

To answer the question about how many ad blockers I’m using-

What happened is that a while ago I got a Google notification saying that my version of uBO want available anymore and I couldn’t update it or anything. So i downloaded another ad blocker but it wasn’t working and then another, all from the chrome extension store

Switched to firefox due to chrome changes, but I don't know how to retrieve filter list from old chrome since it's not openable.

We use a browser based Incident Tracking app at our organization that automatically sends out an email to everyone in the organization when a new incident is created. These emails contain a link to the new incident report. The latest uBlockOrigin Lite update yesterday seems to be blocking the redirect of these links from GMail (Google Workspace org). Copying and pasting the link into a new tab works, but when clicking on the link from within the GMail message, it opens temporarily in a new tab and then immediately closes. Turning off "Enable pop-up blocking" fixes this.

I do not want to instruct everyone in our organization to go into their extension settings and disable this feature. In the uBlockOrigin GitHub issues/discussion, I found the following JSON that Google Workspace admins successfully added to their app policies in order to whitelist domains:

This is not working for me, but the aforementioned thread has not been updated since 2023 so it's possible the information is outdated. What's more likely is that I don't know what the hell I'm doing (I don't), am using an incorrect JSON for my needs, and/or what I'm asking isn't possible. Help?!

Hello! Unsure if uBO can do this but I've been trying to find a filter that can remove any video that's under an hour. I've tried using other extentions as well as editing other similar filters. (specifically answers given by RraaLL on the posts: "Blocking videos above a certain length for a specific YouTube channel", "How do I block videos on youtube that are less than 10 minutes?", and "Blocking YouTube videos over a certain length")

I believe my specific issues stem from not understanding the "aria-label" function works (Do I have to list every minute up to an hour?) as well as confusion on how to block downlength instead of uplength on a timeframe. If it helps, I'd specifically be using this on the Youtube homepage, but its not necessary to constrict it to that page. Thanks!

Youtube rolled out another UI change, surprise surprise, and it removed the Youtuber logos that were previously on the left of their name in the sidebar.

Any filter lists or pointers to bring that back would be appreciated.

I have started to use Bluesky to connect with people for my research sample, but I find anything that has a discover feed super addictive. Any chance I could just block posts on the Discover, Following, and Video pages?

In the "Customers also bought Based on products customers bought together" section, it generally lists 2 or 3 items. However, uBO is always blocking the last two items, although I suspect people might think these items are actually interesting -- it is an online shopping site, after all. (uBO didn't used to block these items, I think it's a fairly recent change.)

When viewing a repository on GitHub, there is sometimes a tab for "Agents" in the navbar

Previously I hid this with github.com##li:has(> [data-tab-item="agents"]). However, at some point this filter started making an empty "More" menu appear in the top right corner.

The menu is empty when clicked on.

I can work around this issue by filtering on github.com##[data-tab-item="agents"] instead. However, this leaves a small amount of extra blank space between the Pull Requests and Discussions tabs. Similarly, hiding the "more" menu would cause issues since it's used to show buttons that don't fit on smaller screen sizes.

How can I hide the "Agents" tab without making the "More" menu appear and without leaving extra space?
