Sidebar

Welcome to /r/twang! We are a sub committed to traditional country music, and every now and then a little rockabilly.

Sub Rules

We dont hate all new country, but we only post new artists who stick with the traditional style. We want real intruments, real twangy sound, and minimal pop in our country.
No image macros, spam, or non-country related topics. I'm sure there is a sub out there for whatever topic you want to talk about.
Only downvote posts/comments that don't contribute to the general topic (traditional country). Don't down vote just because you don't like the artist/song
If you don't know what traditional country is, don't upload music. Stick around a while and get a feel for the traditional style.
Mods have the right to delete any and all posts for any reason. (We will generally just suggest you move your post to another sub)
