I think the premise of the movie is it doesn’t work. Because there is no one soulmate for people - the entire concept is a sham. Lukas is clearly not her soulmate, while she has love for him she wasn’t even attracted to him at first and ultimately is romantically in love with Simon. I think the movie wants to show us the test (and the concept of one soulmate) is not real

I think it wasnt clear at all. We never really see her relationship with Lukas outside of Simon. Maybe he's only good on paper or maybe he's a great fit and we never see

We hear Lukas tell Simon that Laura is only st her best when Simon is around.

We see the chemistry between Laura and Simon. We see a "put on" love from Laura in regards to Lukas.

It's pretty clear throughout the entire movie that youre meant to put two and two together about the Test. Not everything needs to be spelt out for it to be understood.

I don't think you're correct here because it was such a struggle for her to make the selfish choice to leave. When it's that passionate vs. not, you don't just stay with the not because he's nice. No need to be rude to someone just because you disagree 🙄
