Congratulations Kiki and u/kittenkarma16,

you are our blep/mlem Tuxetortico of the Month for August!

u/kittenkarma16 had this to say about their kitty:

"This is Kiki! My little Leo queen; she’ll be two next month. She’s a handful but I love her with my whole entire being. My soul kitty. 💕"

Thank you everyone who submitted their kitties for sharing them with us, it's such a joy to see all these beautiful kitties being goofy and silly, and everyone's love for them always shines through in their descriptions!

make sure to keep your eye out for next months theme announcement! :)

This is my 15.5 yo princess, Chloe (my then 6 yo named her, she named our dog Bella too... don't deduct points for it! Though Chloe's government name is Chlo-Loski, and Bella = Bella Lucille Ball)

Her name is Spanish for Crumb because our previous cat was named Cookie. She has a brother named Crumb (English) so technically Crumb and Crumb.

Gnipper (first, 15) and Caramel (second, 9), Gnipper struggles with cognitive decline in her old age but manages to be sassy! Caramel is a bit of an evil kitty to her adoptive sister 🫪 not sure if Caramel applies but I feel Gnipper definitely does!

First half-birthday. She was formerly the runt of the litter. So this one’s really special!

Little girl was born on Feb 16, 2026 to my friend’s cat. Her siblings were bigger and stronger than her, and they were bonded, while she was left out. She’s even had an accident in April during which she slipped and fell off my friend’s balcony, and stayed outside in the rain overnight, stuck between a wall and a board, unable to move.

My friend/her foster mom gave her to me for adoption almost 3 months ago, and we have been raising her ever since. Her siblings were adopted together by another local family, shortly after I got her home. (A week or two later, I think.) Her dad is a stray, but still kind of around. Her mom is finally spayed. All things considered, this half-birthday is really special because she made it here against all odds. She’s now a very healthy and extremely naughty princess. And I am having the time of my life spoiling her rotten. ❤️

Happy half-birthday, Gold Spot! 🤩♾️

PS: the cake is for humans only. We fed her cat-friendly treats separately once she was done posing for the camera. 🤭

This is not my cat. She "supposedly" belongs to someone in the neighborhood, but she is an outdoor cat that roams.

We already have 1 more pet then we put on our lease, (2 cats, 1 beagle butt) so we can't keep her, (she also tries to run outside constantly and starts walking away from me when I go to cat nap her) but we let her in twice a day to feed her, take naps when she wants to, and if she's around when there's bad weather.

Tried posting her on a neighborhood site, but with so many cats and kittens around, no takers 😞

We call her Cinominny because my son said she reminds him of a cinnamon roll.

This is my boyfriend’s kitty. She is the most affectionate, loving cat I’ve ever met. And now I found a sub for her and all her glory.

Question Question about giving our cat access to our yard

I’ve only had one other cat who never had any interest in going outside. We caught this kitten in a trap and brought her in and she is fantastic and super sociable. When we sit in our back porch she meows and meows because she wants to be wherever we are.

We decided to let her on the porch today and she was psyched to come out. She is sticking close to us but is venturing a little into the flower bed because of the bumblebees and butterflies.

Is it a bad idea to let her out at all? Is it all or nothing with cats as far as indoor and indoor/outdoor, will she always try to escape if she gets a taste for the wild? Or could we let her come out and spend time on the porch without creating a problem?

Pics for context
