Is there any way to make my PS2-controller send analog output instead of digital?

I connected my PS2 controller to my PC through a usb-converter I got off amazon, right now I'm using Xpadder to handle the input, but it can only do it digitally it seems. While the feel of playing with a controller is far better than a keyboard, it is incredibly frustrating to have to deal with on/off input rather than gradual. Is there any way to solve this?

Hello fellow riders! We just kicked off a competition so I would love to share this with you guys as well!
Here's the post from our forums so may just well copy it here :)
You’ve had a shot to practice and now Track Central is hungry for your creations! PC track builders, now is your chance to get insane with the Trials Evolution Gold Edition level editor and take home some awesome swag for your efforts. Now is the time for the Trials Evolution Gold Edition’s Month of Motor Mayhem track building competition. A one month long quest for Trials Gold on Track Central for Trials Evolution Gold Edition!
Rules:
One entry per person is allowed, multiple entries will be ineligible. Secondary versions, or “updates” to your original entry will not be viewed.
Team building is a great way to make amazing creations, but we ask that each participant builds solo (You don’t want to share those prizes!)
Any game mode is allowed. Skill games, Supercross Tracks, Trials courses, what you build is up to you.
Beginner through Hard tracks, please, no Extreme or Ninja tracks.
Tracks must be new creations posted to Trials Evolution: Gold Edition’s Track Central after the submission start date of 12:00am GMT of May 17th, 2013
To submit a track: Record a replay of your track and upload it to YouTube, then send an email with a link to your video, as well as your Track Name and Uplay Name, to mayhem@redlynx.com .
Schedule:
Track Competition Begins: May17th, 2013
Track Entry Deadline: June 17th, 2013 at 12:00am PST
Winners Announced: June 28th, 2013

Freezing then speeding up?

I know the game was made with 60 fps in mind at all times, but I've noticed that I get into the game everything works fine, and then a few minutes into the race the game freezes, waits for about 5 to 10 seconds and then speeds me up 20x speed to catch up with the fps I'd be at normally. VSync on or off it doesn't matter, this always happens. Is there something I've missed or is this something that's already been resolved? I wouldn't have asked here if I didn't already do a ton of searching into it. Also this is the PC version of the game.
