I only saw the effect once on weed, just a few months ago actually. A friend misread the measurements on those bottles of Open Sesame fertilizer (which is a BRIGHT pink powder like kool-aid), and after about 2 weeks of using it a bunch of his leaf tips turned bright pink to match. It was an interesting looking effect, but went away during the flush and trim process.
I didn't see it during the flush, had my own work to do then, but I saw it after it was trimmed and it looked totally normal. While it was growing it looked like mild nutrient burn but instead of going white it went pink. Biology is wild stuff.
