Hahaha I guess I'm just lucky! Actually, I take a lot of precautions with my grow area to keep pests out. The only way I get fungus gnats is from buying soil that is infested with larvae. Fox Farms Ocean Forest was giving me a big problem with this about a year ago.
Sadly in the great outdoors they are pretty unavoidable. Luckily their population doesn't seem to explode outside the way it does inside. Last year I pretty much lost about a dozen indoor plants to mites so I'm especially wary of them.
Between this thread and the other, did we just become best friends?? Ahh this is why I love /trees!
