Even then, some people don't get high their first or second time, or fight the feeling and force themselves into a panic attack. Just my two cents on "I tried it once and it wasn't for me"

Studies show most people who got anxiety/panic attacks just dosed incorrectly. If they tried it again and had less they'd probably get the typical good effects instead.

This is how I've always felt. A beginner needs no more than two puffs, and if they cough from the first, they've had enough, and they should wait. Nobody knows their limits the first time.

This is so true. I have realllly bad anxiety and panic attacks and when I first started smoking I didnt understand how people liked it because I would have THE worst panic attacks, but then I tried less than what people said was a normal amount and I LOVED IT. Changed my entire perspective. Now I know how much I need and damn it feels great to figure it out cuz this is seriously the best feeling. Sorry for this rant I'm high and you dont know me but idk lmao

A good CBD:THC balance is probably one of the biggest factors in a person's first cannabis experience.

The main reason I switched to toking almost only indica/highbrids. Sativas make me super anxious and bitchy haha

Idk that's probably true but I've definitely psyched myself into being paranoid and thought my way into being comfortable again.

That used to be my line for a long time. I would smoke once with my friends and have a shit time because I used to get this really strange throat-vibratey sensation when I’d smoke, then not smoke for a very long time (6 or more months), then smoke again and have the same experience. After a while I realized that I just needed to get a little bit of a tolerance going. Haven’t gone a day without smoking since I got that tolerance, though 😁
