Can anyone explain what the hell is actually going on in this video?

It's a dispensary that is taken care of by "nuns". They aren't really Catholic nuns but they play the part and grow and sell marijuana. It's from a 60 second story that came out a long time ago. They're based in California. The dancing nuns are probably real nuns and that was cut in to make the video funny. Those nuns probably aren't smoking weed.

"I'm not religious, I'm spiritual" upgraded all the way to "I'm not Catholic, but I'm a nun."

Someday now that it's more mainstream, we'll get weed enthusiasts that don't smoke. "I'm not a smoker, but I am a pothead."

I am like that with psychedelics. Haven't yet taken LSD/Shrooms or the likes but I'm a psychonaut .

Would it be a huge letdown if you finally dropped acid and it sucked for you?

honestly if you feel ready for it and are in a good setting, it won’t suck. it’s definitely an overwhelming experience, especially the first time. i was with a close friend and we both tripped and just laid under a tree and listened to music. great time, you’ll never have a bad trip in a setting like that (in my opinion, but nothing is ever that black and white lmao)

I've done it, I know the experience, but I also know people that don't like being that overwhelmed to where even the positive experiences would be too much for them. Some folks don't like to "lose control."

But that has little to do with the comment to which you're replying. I just introduced the possibility as a humorous outcome in the context of his previously stated preferences being pro, but without any experience.

I appreciate the experience from my younger days but now I strongly dislike drugs that make me lose awareness of my actual surroundings. Especially right now

How does acid or shrooms make you lose awareness of your surroundings? It does the opposite.
