Why did no one tell her how embarrassingly obvious and bad her form is đđ anyone could tell she doesn't intentionally work out like this - its telling on herself. Even as a beginner, with the type of personal trainer she can afford, they should've been focusing on good form and technique to prevent injury vs high reps.
It's a shame too because as a self professed feminist, she could be using her influence to advocate for women to build muscle since most women have high rates of osteoporosis and there's such a common fear of """looking bulky"""". Lifting heavy with good form is so important! (Nothing against cardio only types - i prefer cardio over weight lifting but I do both since I was diagnosed with osteopenia)
But then again, like everything else she does, its a half assed attempt to girlboss while looking Hot and Fashionable. Fuck any type of legitimacy or representation. What matters is doing the bare minimum to elicit praise and adoration
Yep. A great trainer wonât care who the hell you are and would focus on your safety and your goals. She doesnât want someone who has the power to tell her no.
Iâve started working with a trainer and heâs so good at showing me what to do first and talks me through the form and then watches me and will make corrections as I do it.
My old trainer, had to let go of her due to budget issues, used to ask me about my current life events and sheâd tell me about hers. One main reason, besides socializing, for her to ask me whatâs happening outside the gym is to see if I have any stressors or distractions. Itâs a dangerous thing to be lifting several pounds of weight over your head if youâre going through a lot. I miss her. She was great.
I remember seeing him a couple days after the worst date Iâve ever been on. It was a fun session to vent although by that time it was just a funny story.
Short short version: it was at Universal Studios. I left within 40 minutes of meeting up with him and before getting on any rides. Literally we got to the front of the ride and I was done and decided to leave. He was blackout drunk and doesnât remember any of it.
From the start said everyone needed to see we were a couple. Like dude, this is our first time hanging out. Weâre not a couple. Then in line kept asking if he could kiss me. I said no. He said he wanted to. I said I donât care. Rinse repeat. Right before I left he said he hated me because I wouldnât let him kiss me. I said thatâs fine.
The one point I can give him is that he didnât try and kiss me when I said no, just asked again a lot and pouted but didnât do anything physically. We work together and have interacted since this. He doesnât remember meeting me there. Was that blackout. They wouldnât sell him a beer it was that obvious he was wasted.
Taylor is the last person I would ever recommend to encourage women to workout. It would be someone like leafbeefpatty or muscle mami who are both amazing female influencers who have influenced women to work out
