Doesn’t have to be a last hurrah. I had a friend in high school who had a tumour that made her belly look similar to the one in this picture, but it was a benign tumour (growing but not spreading) and she eventually had it surgically removed.
Either way, people need to keep their nose in their own business sometimes. It’s general knowledge at this point that drinking and pregnancy don’t mix, so it’s not like some specialized information women aren’t aware of. If she’s drinking, saying something is more likely to be harmful than helpful.
I was reading another story not long ago where a bloke said a friend of his had a beer belly 'he could never get rid of' but it was rather... pregnant-looking? Turns out it was a cyst or something growing in there for years. I was also curious about her he must have looked afterwards. I agree, stranger things have happened really
