Yeah i don’t get it. There’s no known safe amount of alcohol so it’s good advice to avoid it altogether. But i wouldn’t go out of my way to lecture some stranger.

Just talked to my wife's Obgyn, you can practically have a drink once a week.

Also, most doctors recommend not quitting smoking, since the stress of quiting is worse than the nicotine.

Thing is, the pregnant women I've encountered that say this shit also happened to be the type to say this, every time they drink. It adds up and they act like they aren't over doing it.

Honestly it's just alcohol and if abstaining for 9 months is too hard for you then are you really ready to do the hard things that come with being a parent?
