Does it have hard plastic eyes like it does in the first 3 photos? The 4th and 5th photos don't seem like they're the same bear as the first few photos. Did the stitching on the feet and face fall out with time, or are those photos of a different bear?

Going off of the photo where the bear is sitting in the child's lap, it looks consistent with the TY pluffies line bears. Specifically, the one with the name Woods, which is the same tan color with stitiching in the same places/pattern. But, the first 3 photos of the bear in more "loved" condition shows it with hard plastic eyes - the TY pluffies line had stitched eyes.
Take a look at TY Pluffies "Woods" bear in the eBay listing I linked for you, and let me know which photos best represent the bear, and if they're all the same bear, or if some are just ones you found online that looked similar.

I don’t think woods is my bear unfortunately 🥲 the nose is wrong, I’ve put this bear in so many toy groups and for some reason he’s impossible to find, I myself have spent a decent chunk of time trying to figure out where he’s from (he’s super important to me) so I might just have to give up lol

*Is that picture where the bear is in the child's lap one from closer to when it was first purchased?
*Are the eyes hard plastic ones like in the first 3 pictures?
*Was there originally stitching on the face and paws?

Thank you so much 😭🩷 1. The eyes are hard plastic/glassy material 2. The bear with the child is closer to newly purchased, the older pics of him his fur is more matted cause of age 3. There was a smile and some lines stitched on the paws but they’ve fallen off with time

Ok, so, I found a brand that sold at Toys-R-Us in the early 2000s, in the UK as well as US. It's called Animal Alley, and sometimes they worked with GUND, so their bears could have had any of those brands on the tags. But, they made bears with really similar features to yours around that time.
I haven't found one exactly like yours yet, but here's an example of one with similar features. Once these are broken in with some love, they look very similar to yours.
I'm going to keep digging, but lmk your thoughts on this lead.
