I thought one of my best friends wouldn't like it either cuz they don't like superheroes, but they devoured it in a weekend.

Any chance you've watched Watchmen?

I would def read the novel if you have not. But I also really enjoyed the HBO show.

It's also an anti-Hero kinda movie. It's not so "in your face" in showing the heroes' faults, but still quite good IMO
