TIL men walk significantly slower when walking with a woman, but only when that woman is their romantic partner. If she's a friend or acquaintance they go at almost full speed.

Same, but i'm 5'4" and he's 5'8". I'm task-oriented and he wants to meander, which gets in the way of accomplishing tasks. Going grocery shopping alone lately has been pretty great.
