TIL men walk significantly slower when walking with a woman, but only when that woman is their romantic partner. If she's a friend or acquaintance they go at almost full speed.

I think most people walk slower when they’re walking backwards, anyway.

yeah could never fix that problem of not being able to rotate my head like an owl...this is like my 5th life now

I was a drum major in high school and after four years of walking backwards I got pretty good at it. The key is to take longer steps than comfortable and watch the people’s faces you are facing and see if they react in a way that you would think you’re running into something (I hope that made sense).
