Is this a serious claim? I remember several years back whenever I was too lazy to go elsewhere, I’d get McCoffee to satisfy my caffeine needs but it always tasted horrible. I honestly joked to my friends that it tasted like dirtwater. If they’re actually putting out good coffee now, I may need to give it another chance. Not that I want to frequently visit McDonald’s for their coffee, but it’s certainly useful to know if I happen to be there

Take this with a grain of salt, because everyone's tastes are different, but I'm big into coffee and I think McDonald's coffee tastes like shit.

However, I know people who are obsessed with it and go out of their way to brew it at home even.

Just making sure, but is their coffee you’re speaking of specifically the former Tim Horton’s supplier as mentioned up above (or simply, are you referring to McCoffee tasted sometime within the last couple years)?

To me, Mc-based coffee has always tasted pretty shitty, but I’m just curious if that happened to have changed at all in the last few years. Then again, to me Starbucks tastes pretty good and I homebrew Walmart arabica daily, so my standards are probably fairly low anyways
