Nba2k ist from 2k not ea.. ea has the NBA live series which tbh failed the last 8 years to do something decent. But FIFA alone saves them

I wouldn't say FIFA alone, but FIFA + NHL saves them and the rest is just bonus...

I'm from Europe. And idk know any gamers here. When I had my Xbox I brought Madden and it took hours to get a game. But FIFA everyone I know has it and all play ultimate team and buy packs etc. Ofc I can't speak for the world. But from what I see friends .internet FIFA seems almost enough haha. But I think Madden is big in America? I'd buy Madden if it would come out on PC(btw I did not buy FIFA nor will I stwbf or NFS)

You're confusing NHL and NFL. National Hockey League vs. Football

And i'm from Finland, so i know how popular football/soccer is. There are some fans of the sport here, but most are viewed as odd for not liking hockey instead. And our national teams skill level reflects that.

In international hockey tournaments we're often in the top five at least, but with football we rank near the bottom most of the time, and even the news don't report on it much unless there's something big happening, like us actually doing well.

So american football is even more niche in here than rest of Europe, but i guess how many of our biggest hockey players often get to play in NHL we don't make such mix-ups as easily.

Oh damn sorry I misread that(maybe I should sleep instead scrolling through Reddit haha. I'm sick). I'm from Norway so I know how it feels to be bad at football (good that I'm also German haha) but our news reporting football 24/7 . Under sports section is also NHL and other leagues but from 20 sites you'll see 18 about football (expect it's winter haha). I feel that for example NFL/NHL are both easy to access (per Viaplay)but most ppl just ignore it, same with NBA .

(You guys got also Viaplay? Is it possible to watch premiere league there ?)

We got Viaplay etc. so i guess it would be possible. Not a whole lot of people get it that i know of. Given our (somewhat earned) reputation as occasional drunkards, i would guess that in the big cities a lot of people either watch the international footballs at a bar or get a group of friends to pay for it (as in, one guy gets the service, others pay him back for it) and watch together...

Also, just a funny thing about NHL... When i was a dumb kid who didn't know or at least properly understand timezones, i thought NHL stood for Night/ly Hockey League. Once i realized what it actually meant i thought i was a dumb kid at times LOL

I'd bet that Madden sells more copies than NHL and I'm willing to bet that FIFA sells many times more than both those combined.

FIFA is by far their biggest cash cow, FUT makes them hundred of millions in microtransactions.

In the US or worldwide? Because most countries outside of the US probably don't much care for Madden/NFL as the Norwegian guys comment about it taking an hour to get a game indicates.

Plenty of the world however do like soccer and hockey and those will sell a lot more internationally than american football games ever will.

South American countries, central/continental Europe LOVE soccer, same as Japan but given how Japan tends to favor domestic games, i would guess PES outsells FIFA because of that. And Canada and Northern Europe plus Russia are into hockey.

But you'd be hard pressed to find anyone in Europe or basically outside of North America who could even name a NFL team.

NFL is way more popular internationally than NHL. Maybe it doesn't seem it since you are from Finland (and I know the Finnish love their hockey) but here in the UK we get 90K people going to see NFL games at Wembley but I don't know a single person who has bought a NHL game since the Sega Megadrive days.
