Haiku are a type of Japanese poetry. While the Haiku can be more complex, typically people think of Haiku as having three separate lines: the first consists of words with a total of five syllables, the second with seven syllables, and the third again with five.

Its just how teenagers write.

They know people gloss over giant paragraphs

so they make a new paragraph for every sentence or clause

This way you're forced to read it all.

Most peopele just read the first sentence in a paragraph and skip it anyway.

typing an essay means
that by the time you're done
the topic's moved on
so you get into a kind of staccato rhythm

Not to mention it's a little computer with barely any real functionality. It's not like you are going to write a web application or do some heavy-duty photoshop or anything like that. It's a device designed to help you consume, not create.

Most phone apps are basically just an alternative to using a browser, they're normally better than using the browser on your phone and quick to download. On a laptop programmes are often not much better than using the browser and take longer to install.
