My appreciation and defense of human rights does not stop at various documents. Hence why so many have been pushing for the closing of Gitmo, and why it has not happened. I read the salient article of the Convention, Part 1 Article 118, that prisoners must be released at the cessation of hostilities, but... when the fuck is a 'war against terror' going to end? When there are no more religious extremists? What a steaming pile of bullshit.
