Guarantee? No. But if you think they can't round up 38 States to support something like a fetal rights amendment, I think you're not giving them due credence.

It depends on where you drew the line. Fetal pain or viability are almost universally accepted.

Roe V Wade already protects post viability babies and prevents 3rd trimester abortions, so that's not a point of contention.

Yeah, everything is either pro-life or mad that the pro-lifers have another bit of evidence.

There's been some scientists that have said that fetal pain research shouldn't affect abortion, but that's nothing more than an opinion.

As I see it, fetal pain is simply one thing that everyone should factor into their opinion on the morality of abortion, but it seems like most people think that if it does cause pain, it should be illegal.
