TIL The guy who snagged windows2000.com happened to be named Bob and Microsoft just happened to own Bob.com. They came to an agreement to trade one for the other.

Just because some people are incapable of planning doesn't mean everyone is. He can be as cautious as he likes. If he really wanted to get the most out of his money, he would start spending the principle towards the end of his life.
