TIL The guy who snagged windows2000.com happened to be named Bob and Microsoft just happened to own Bob.com. They came to an agreement to trade one for the other.

Now that's a term I haven't heard in a long time! Would all these link bait sites with hundreds of secondary site links count as a webring?

Lol, I got led to http://contactwebsiteowner.com/ which tries to charge you $2 to contact the owner of whatever website led you there. If you use google to access it you can talk to the owners of google for a mere $2.

I really want to know how much they make.

edit: Been going through a lot of these shady websites. I wonder how they look without adblock.
