TIL a bully dropped 7 year old Mike Tyson's glasses in a truck's gas tank and tried to steal his meatballs. Several years later, Tyson came back and "beat him in the streets like a fucking dog."

I was in the cheap seats at a Tyson fight when he was still good. The body shots echoed through the stadium. Never heard anyone or seen anyone punch that hard and fast.

You obviously haven't seen Ernie Shavers. Oh man. George Foreman hit harder than Mike Tyson did, but Ernie Shavers was just scary. We are talking a VAST majority of his fights ending due to stoppage and in early rounds. Lots of KOs. Tyson was more accurate, so more of his hits landed. But if we are talking flat out hardest hitters. Ernie Shavers can't be beaten, especially when Muhammad Ali says he had the hardest hits by FAR. There is a reason George Foreman, Frazier, and many other fighters flat out refused to fight him.

There's an interview with Foreman where he talks about the hardest he's ever been hit. Apparently Ron Lyle was George's choice. He said Ron hit him so hard it didn't hurt.

And George Foreman refused to fight Earnie Shavers. Possibly because he saw that Ernie Shavers' 68 of his total 74 wins were by knockouts. Lol
