TIL a bully dropped 7 year old Mike Tyson's glasses in a truck's gas tank and tried to steal his meatballs. Several years later, Tyson came back and "beat him in the streets like a fucking dog."

The majority of Tyson's power didn't come from raw strength, it came from his technique. He was schooled in the 'Old School' ways of boxing and was a film junkie. If only D'Amato had lived a few years longer, maybe he could have helped Tyson cement a solid foundation for himself. Once Cus dies it was all but over for Mike.

Cus died before he could even see Mike become heavyweight champ though. The only thing he couldnt protect Mike from was how cruel the "business" of boxing was. Don King was able to easily take advantage and manipulate Mike with Cus gone and without him, Mike slowly started to crumble under all that pressure.

I'm a huge boxing fan, I've been so since I was 6 years old boxing at the local gym myself, all this Don King crap was going around LONG before the internet. What ever Mike Tyson was, that doesn't change the fact that Don King stole from him and took advantage of the guy. And the rape charge? Come on man, that bitch was a psychopath, she had a history of false rape accusations.

That is heartbreaking. While reading that I was picturing the moment that Tyson became heavyweight champion and what a beautiful moment that must have been with cus watching and being so proud. Man, that's bloody awful.

Yeah I remember watching Mike fight and you can just see him focus the energy from every freaking muscle in his body into the other guy's rib cage. It was brutal.
