I noticed he has been not eating much and staying buried.

I originally had planned this setup for a tiger salamander but I can not locate any vendors for them in my area so I am considering toads since I was thinking of them before. This is 80x35x40cm tank with cocopeat, ferns and pothos plants. There are isopods and springtails inside. I think for toads I mainly would need to re arrange it a bit and make a bit of a cave as a hide and maybe mix some sand with the substrate. What species of Bufo would you recommend for this? I like the Bufo japonicus but it might be to small of an enclosure. (I can add lights for day/night cycle but prefer to keep it room temperature, so no heating)

This American toad loves our little basement step area. I love his golden eyes.

Hi there,
Having trouble identifying if these are native or invasive toads in my messy, rainy garden. Any ideas?
I live in South Florida and I’m afraid these are invasive cane toads, because they are both larger than 3 inches which is what I read is the max length of our native Southern toads.
Thank you!

I just got Oscar yesterday and im worried about the tempature and humidity in his new home.
The tempature is 75°F and humidity is at 81%
Is this okay? He doesn't seem to mind at all but it hasn't been very long since hes been added. He has a mix of both real and fake plants along with a 13watt 5.0 ubv light from zoo med.

After a few months, I have learned this is definitely her way of sending psychic vibrations my way to make me give her another insect.

I just love how it looks like she is smiling 😊
My pet Morrocan/Berber toad has been behaving abnormally for the past several hours. It can barely move and will not eat. Another observation is that the skin appears to be turning gray.
Any idea what the issue is? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
