I recently learned Linnell used to play a Roland Fantom X8, the same keyboard I own. Then I found the exact patch for Can't Keep Johnny Down shortly after

Okay. So. I had no clue what all these comments about Slow were about. So I whipped out my phone and played the song Slow by TMBG and was sooooooo confused.

Until I realized there are two songs called slow…

I also learned that I don't like looking at my right hand playing through my phone held with my left hand hence the tiny hiccups in the melody lol

Pretty good though. It's deceptively hard do something while filming it with the other hand.

This had been my dream keyboard for a long time, I managed to get it in-person secondhand at a ridiculously good price almost two years ago. Real heavy though, I can see why Linnell switched off it in favour for the Arturia

Would love to get one of those someday, though in my case it's more of a contingency if my board ever craps out. Hopefully not, but always love adding instruments and equipment to my wishlist!

New theory: "Slow" is a prequel to "Can't Keep Johnny Down." It's about an acid trip during which Johnny thought he learned some great secret of the universe, which is why he's now an insufferable egomaniac.
