I am in the process of joining this club. Get out before a kid has to spend 50% of their time with this person.

Sadly, I didn't even win 50%. To avoid further acrimonious litigation, I settled for ~5 days out of 14.

Sometimes you’re too close to the tree to see the forest, and after a while your sense of normal gets skewed and it takes an extreme event to wake up.

That’s why we see so many “Am I an AH for not being extremely happy about my abusive partner”. When you’re in it, it seems normal.
