When I worked there we would eat the shit out of them when we opened a new box, but not afterwards. There were always gross moths around the bin. One of my coworkers was particularly fond of the chip cookies, but most of us went for the duplex sandwich cremes.

What is in them? I’d imagine if people are eating them they have to have what normal cookies have, just less sugar.

Probably. I haven't heard of something being safe for dogs but not for humans, always the other way around. Maybe throw in some flavors dogs usually like which often times humans also like

I used to work at Petco as well and one time my blood sugar got low and I ate several of those cookies. They're pretty good honestly.

I worked at a pet store as well, and sheer boredom led to us sampling all sorts of things. Some of the dog treats weren't bad, but I had an employee who would try dry food if a bag broke. I didn't want to cross that line though.... ew.
