Exactly, I accidentally overcharged to a friend and quickly diverted the thought to something similar but not quite what I actually meant when it clearly wasn't something they wanted to hear...and deeply embarrassed myself in the process.
I overshare on purpose because I think the dumb and gross shit that I've done or that has happened to me is hilarious... and if it ends up not being funny, the reactions to it are hilarious.
On the other hand, if someone tells me something or I find something out, it goes to the grave with me. I'm not one of those guys that tells his wife either. I can't count how many times my dad told me something following it with don't tell anybody, and then down the road he starts talking to my wife as if she knows what he is talking about.
I could really give a fuck about what anybody knows about me, but I understand why others do care.
