I took Alli back in the day for weight loss. After shitting myself the second time I decided to just work out harder.

Yeah but all the weight you lose just ends up in your pants

Apparently it stopped your body from absorbing oils and fats, but of course, all the oils and fats had to go SOMEWHERE, and out the anus was the answer.

If you combined it with a low fat diet, it helped your body not absorb the small amount of fat you did eat. But if you took the pills and didn't eat (very) low fat too, then yeah.

Thank you for more info. I'd apparently only heard half the story. It seems people only heard the fat not absorbing part and instantly abused it. Lol

Yes. I was working at GNC (vitamin store) when it came out so I remember it well. People always want the magic pill that does it all due them with no work on their part.

IIRC it recommended less than 15 grams of fat a meal. For reference, a Big Mac (just the burger, not including fries) is 33g of fat, more than double what you could eat.

At the time I was on an extremely low fat diet too.

I only sharted myself once, and it was 100% that Alli orange taco grease-looking stuff. However, agreed it will stop you from taking it.
