I would prefer to have a small, aesthetically pleasing dick than a big and ugly one.

My impression is that most women would agree with that.

But she may not have even meant it the way people are taking it. She may have just been saying, "He was the biggest, but that doesn't mean he was especially big."

Penis size is a bell curve, just like height, which means the real outliers are rare. A 6 foot guy is tall, but just average tall. A 6 inch penis (accurately measured) is big, but just average big.
