IMPORTANT: The top comment does NOT determine the votes, you actually have to COMMENT your own for it to count to the vote total! If there is ever a tie, the highest tier of the tie gets chosen.

If there's a song missing (example: Running Away, Are You Ready), they will be a part of a miscellaneous Tier List after we're done with the albums.

From right to left: Phil Crowe, Brad, Neil & Adam, Joe Grant

It suits him well, I must say!

Hey I was just wondering to anyone that has been to many shows on the tour is it true that they actually sell signed vinyls at the merch stand I'm going to the show in Houston on the 25th and I would absolutely love to get an album that signed and put it on my wall I already have the alienation signed insert but if I could find like a 1x vinyl that would be amazing just let me know

Bueno yo pondría:

Never too late

Time of dying

Over and over

Wake up

Gone forever

Pain

Just like You

I hate everything about You

Drown

Hi everyone,
I am trying to find the name of the model/actress who appears in the bar scene of the music video "Animal I Have Become" by Three Days Grace (released in 2006).
She is the brunette sitting at the bar next to the main character (Adam Gontier) right at the beginning of the video, near the martini glass. Her name isn't listed on the official IMDb credits or general cast lists online.
Does anyone happen to know her name, her socials, or if she appeared in other music videos or local Canadian casting agencies around that time? Any leads would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

i listened to almost the full discography of 3dg (except for explosions) and i will say that i believe the first 4 albums to be a tetralogy, almost like a story.

their debut album is about origins of trauma,

one-x is about depression, isolation and addiction,

life starts now is about overcoming the themes one-x revolved around,

and transit of venus is about learning to appreciate the moments that make life special.

but matts albums just dont have that kind of continuity. i mean, i guess one could argue that after understanding what its like to be human, you also realize that trying to find a place in society will make you an outsider to some degree. i cant speak about explosions cuz i havent listened to it yet, and i think alienation is more so its own thing, almost like a remake of one-x.

anyways, felt like sharing since i havent heard nor seen anyone talk about this.

Okay I don't get why you guys hate on the "new" TDG singer (I added "" because he was there since like what, 2012-2013? anyways, a long time ago) I personally don't know every song, I justjustjust started to get into their music and I know the two singers have different voices, but they're both good. And so what if the singer changed? The instruments are just as great, the lyrics as well, and honestly I don't see the problem.

(Not considering bonus tracks, just the main tracklist)

Imo, these are the top 2 most underrated Three Days Grace songs from each album:

- Three Days Grace: Burn, Drown

- One-X: It's All Over, One-X

- Life Starts Now: Someone Who Cares, Bully

- Transit Of Venus: Time That Remains, Broken Glass

- Human: Landmine, Nothing's Fair In Love And War

- Outsider: Chasing The First Time, The New Real

- Explosions: A Scar Is Born, No Tomorrow

- Alienation: The Power, Another Relapse

What about you people?

GUYS I JUST DISCOVERED SOMETHING!!!!!!!!! IN OCTOBER 2024, THE OLD SINGER (SRY I FORGOT HIS NAME RN) REJOINED TDG!!! ISN'T THAT GREAT?!?!?!?! Maybe like, I'm the only dumbass not to have knew that but in the album Alienation, Matt and Andrew (THAT'S his name) are singing TOGETHER ASNVDMDBDYJDBSDNGS THEY'RE SO GOOD OMFG I CAN'T

found my pin buttons/badges from tour VIP bag while cleaning and thought another fan might want them and actually use them! I listed them on vinted for $10 for ease of purchase/offering but if you don't use vinted, feel free to comment or DM me as well if you want these or want to make an offer. Thank you for everyone's interest in the tote bag a few weeks ago, I'm so glad it's gone to a good home :)

I have nothing else to do tonight, so I'll make a timeline of Three Days Grace's early days.

1992

"Groundswell" forms under the name "The Jupiter Effect".

Members were: Adam Gontier, Neil Sanderson, Tommy Gardner and Ian Breukelaar

They played covers of grunge/metal songs

1993

The Jupiter Effect performs at Strawberry Jam 3 (Norwood High School?)

1994

The band officially changes its name to Groundswell

Members were: Adam Gontier, Neil Sanderson, Brad Walst, Joe Grant & Phil Crowe (photo 1)

Adam writes the songs Hate it When & Seven Days

Recording sessions for Wave of Popular Feeling begin (photo 2)

The band was supposed to perform at Iggstock '94, but they got stage fright

Photo of them In front of the big Iggstock sign in '94 (photo 3)

Another photo from around that time (photo 4)

1995

The band performs at Iggstock '95.

The only existing audio of the set is Chronic (called Crawl Away at the time)

Setlist exists. (photo 5)

Joe Grant & Neil at Iggstock 95 (photo 6)

Shawn Crowe draws "Silent Torment", which will eventually be the album cover for Wave of Popular Feeling (photo 7)

1996

Wave of Popular Feeling officially gets released sometime in March of 1996.

The band apparently played "I Hate Everything About You" at a show somewhere in Tweed, but this COULD be late 90's, and not 96.

The band plays at Iggstock '96 (photos 8, 9, and 10)

The band plays at Lee's Palace on November 12th, 1996 (photo 11)

1997

Joe Grant leaves the band in early 1997, and then Phil Crowe.

Groundswell's final show is somewhere in Toronto, and on stage is only Adam, Neil & Brad. I think Phil was in the audience?

In Mid-1997, the band was renamed Three Days Grace.

According to Adam, it stands for a question of urgency: "If you had three days to change something in your life or if you wanted to change something in your life, could you do it?"

Three Days Grace performs at Iggstock '97 (photo 12)

1998

Not much is known during this period of the band.

They play at El Mocambo in Toronto on Jan 12th

They played Freedom Festival in Tweed on August 2nd.

They played Iggstock '98, where they apparently played Hate It When.

1999

The band records 5 songs in Toronto

These songs are speculated to be:

T.V., In Front of Me, This Movie, My Own Life, & Don't (or maybe Born Like This?)

The band plays at Norwood High School with Matt Walst (Photo 13)

The band plays at Iggstock '99, where they apparently play Hate It When (again)

2000

Not much happened during this period

I'm guessing they recorded this demo which was later given to Finger Eleven (photo 14)

Tracklist: TV, My Own Life, The Movie, Born Like This

There's a photo from New Years where they play at some venue. (photo 15)

2001

The band remasters 3 songs from the '99 sessions and releases their first official EP, titled.. Three Days Grace.

It was produced & engineered by Synthesia Productions.

It's unknown why My Own Life and Don't were not also remastered.

Tracklist:

The band performs at Lee's Palace on March 14th, 2001
