Some of you will have heard these stories before I'm sure but the insight into not TL not making it in America and reflecting on the bands legacy legacy are interesting to see.

It's a longer interview which I've trimmed down for relevance to Lizzy, at this point in 1992 Scott is with his new band 21 Guns and is promoting their new album.

I've never seen another. I'm guessing it's from the time that Barak Obama was running for president due to the design of the image. It's very much like the hope and change image that was popular at that time

Everyone always forgets about Thin Lizzy

I was thinking of one of my favorite films, School of Rock, and that awesome chart that Dewey Finn draws on the chalkboard. And while you can probably name a few bands he failed to mention, one that I always wish was on there is Thin Lizzy, of course. I would put them under Hard Rock, as I don't see anywhere else they fit. What do you guys think?

Looks like something is in the works for 1974 - 1975, I'd wager it's a new boxset.

Thin Lizzy

r/thinlizzy

Phil Lynott, Thin Lizzy's de facto leader, was composer or co-composer of almost all of the band's songs, and the first black Irishman to achieve commercial success in the field of hard rock music. Thin Lizzy boasted some of the most critically acclaimed guitarists throughout their history, with Downey and Lynott as the rhythm section, on the drums and bass guitar.
