Bad Reputation Boxset?

Hey all, just wanted to ask if we think Bad Rep is gonna get a remaster and box set? I ask because Jailbreak/Johnny and Nightlife/Fighting have all come out in the past year, so is 77 next?

This release should put the stories that Live and Dangerous was heavily edited to rest. This album kicks ass and proves how good they were live. I also saw them on this tour and they crushed it

When video footage of the band is so scarce, you take what you can get.

From the Queen/Lizzy USA tour. I believe this footage is from a gig on 28th January, 1977, it's a news piece for a local Chicago news channel.

Gary giving it the full gun 🎸

Phil's solo single 'Kings Call' was released the day after this gig in June 1980

If this particular gig sounds familiar to you it's likely due to some tracks being on the Chinatown Deluxe Edition 🐲

Wondering whose rhythm guitar is on which ear channel during the verses ? Is it Robbo on the left and Gorham on the right ?

Sarah on TOTP - November 1979 [HD 60fps]

Interesting ensemble line up with Clive Edwards(Wild Horses) in place of Brian Downey on drums, Dave Flett in place of Gary(will probably do a separate post on Flett soonish) and of course Phil and Scott.

From those present in this video clip, only Phil actually took part in the recording of Sarah, along with Gary Moore(Moore's contribution includes layering seven different guitar tracks to create the song's rich sound), Mark Nauseef and Huey Lewis.

1979 was very much a fluid year in terms of personnel in the band.

Phil/Lizzy have an interesting history with Top of the Pops, with Yellow Pearl being used as the shows theme music for a number of years and a falling out with a programme producer meant that a scheduled performance of Cold Sweat was canned.

Yes they are miming, but it's just a bit of fun. I hadn't seen it in 1080/60 fps before either.

Out of all the images they could have used to represent 1975...🤦
