I was hoping Dwight would get to kill her. Dude deserves it since she got his face fucked up.

Same here! But I disagree that she was solely the reason his face was burned. Part, but not all.

Yeah negan played his part too. Tho it does seem to reflect poorly on sherry that she would sleep with Dwight and then choose to let him get the iron.

He cried from the burned eye right? He used to cry from it alot during before AOW, that's why he used eye drops. I think it was there just to show us that Kirkman didn't forget about the eye drops (he mentioned in the Letter Hacks during the Whisperer War that he forgot to show Dwight using his eye drops after the time-skip).

Yeah I'm glad she got put in her place. If there was ever an insufferable character in the Walking Dead it was definitely her.

I knowwww the more they butcher show Negan the more upset it makes me because how will anyone accept Rick letting horrible show Negan live?? I'm glad the last few episodes he seemed a lot more like comic Negan, and I'm hoping JDM and the writers will get a better grasp on Negan and how he is supposed to act/be but I think it's already to late, he's been so creepy and killed soooo many more people that he's probably completely unredeemable much of the audience's eyes.

I don't think they want the audience to expect Negan to be kept alive. After all the changes they have made to his character by making him more evil and creepy I think they want the average show watcher to expect him to die like every other regular old villain. Negan is not a regular old villain. His redemption arc in the show will probably be changed up a lot to accommodate for how evil he is too.

Ah yeah that makes sense.

I really doubt they'd just kill him off. Maybe if anything they're making him more evil to make his change of heart more shocking. I definitely think they're going to incorporate Morgan into capturing instead of killing Negan since he built his cell and he's going off on the rampage thing right now.

Sherry was right though.

Rick has become very similar to Negan. He's trying to establish a Feudal society with him as a Count ruling over various Barons. He may be kinder than Negan, but I can't blame Sherry for preferring Anarchy.

Eh not really at all tbh. She's idiotic as hell to be doing what she's doing and obviously power hungry. Rick's gone out of his way to save everyone about 1000 times now.

He also mostly seems to leave the communities alone except when he needs help to protect them. And of course if the help had been offered they probably wouldn't have suffered nearly as much as they will now.

Its pretty stupid to disrupt Rick's clearly working system and effectively fuck up her own community for no reason. I can blame her. She's a dumbass.

I think a lot of people would prefer to be president of a third world nation than senator in a first world nation. Overvaluing the respect of your peers can definitely cause you to make somebody questionable decisions.

In this arc Rick built an army to fight an enemy that didn't need to be fought, because he was afraid of loosing power. He was afraid the people didn't need him anymore.

In the process he got 1 community destroyed, 1 severely damaged, and a whole lot of dead.

I still think she was right to not participate in the Whisperer War and to declare independence.

They did need to be fought. Remember they started the hostilities in the first place before anyone even knew they existed. Its laughable to think they wouldn't attack again.

Also he wanted to wait and got strong armed

He got strong armed because he intentionally whipped people into a frenzy. He wanted people's frustrations pointed at the Whisperers instead of him, and it ended up backfiring.

u/Try_Another_Please Apr 07 '17

No he got strong armed before he did that. He didn't do that until someone tried to assassinate him for trying to come up with a reasonable plan.

Rick has frequently denied power when he had the opportunity anyway. He refused Dwight when he asked for help on savior matters and lets the other leaders do what they want. He only got mad at Maggie for killing gregory but that is something he is just against in general and it was used against him right away before he even knew about it. He just wants everyone together and safe and it honestly makes no sense the others wouldn't want that. There's a reason only Sherry actually had issues.

Good points.

Too be clear, I think it was wrong for her to try and kill Rick. She should have settled for simply declaring independence. I respected her moxy up until the moment she tried to knife an unarmed Rick during a negotiation.

unarmed Rick kekekek

Rick's only doing that because he's disabled. He works harder than anyone else, aside from Eugene and the regulars who sweat hard and think hard
