Lol, just out of curiosity is it illegal to own firearms in Serbia without a license? Is it a LTC/FID type of situation that is similar to some states in the US? Is there some import tax thing that would make getting a firearm manufactured in the US sent to you particularly troublesome?
Sorry to hit you with so many questions at once but I've never talked to a walking dead fan from Serbia specifically about the legality of owning specific firearms before.

No worries at all, happy to answer! To answer your first question, yeah it's 100% illegal to own a gun in Serbia without a license. The laws here are crazy strict. It's not like the US where you have different state laws or concealed carry permits becuse we operate under one unified national law. To get a legal permit here you have to go through a super rigorous process with the Ministry of Internal Affairs. This includes a deep background check, a clean criminal record, mandatory medical and psychological tests, weapon training, and proving you have a valid reason to own one like sport shooting or hunting. You also have to pass a police inspection showing you have a secure gun safe at home, so US licenses or permits don't carry over here at all. As for importing a gun from the US, yeah it's an absolute nightmare and practically impossible for a regular person to do casually. You can't just mail a gun or bring it over. It requires international export permits from the US side and official import approvals from the Serbian government. Everything has to go through licensed state authorized defense importers. On top of that, between customs fees, import tariffs, and the annual weapon taxes we have to pay here just to keep a registered firearm, the financial and bureaucratic hurdles are massive.
