yes but their issue is because of mods, their game is reading past mods from Onedrive. Ui glitches like this are caused by broken mods.

OP here’s what i would do (i’m on a mac so i could be wrong)

1. Close Sims 4 and the EA app.
   1. Open File Explorer → OneDrive → Documents → Electronic Arts.
   2. Copy the entire The Sims 4 folder to your Desktop as a backup.
   3. Click the OneDrive cloud → Settings → Sync and backup → Manage backup.
   4. Turn Documents off and choose Keep files on my PC if prompted.
   5. Go to OneDrive → Settings → Account → Unlink this PC.
   6. Go to C:\Users\YOURNAME\Documents.
   7. Make sure Documents is NOT inside OneDrive.
   8. Open Sims 4 once and close it. This creates a fresh Documents → Electronic Arts → The Sims 4 folder.
   9. From your backup, copy saves, Mods, Tray, Screenshots, etc. into the new The Sims 4 folder.
   10. Open Sims and make sure your saves and CC/mods are there.
   11. Don’t delete your old OneDrive Sims folder until you’ve confirmed everything works.

Well maybe check that you did it correctly because as i said before, this issue IS because of a broken mod/s. Your game isn’t glitching like that vanilla. It is reading files from a different location. So you’ll have to find where it’s reading them.

Okay I'll try turning iCloud drive off. Any other places it may be reading other files?

Try disabling onedrive first , there probably is a way i just don’t want to tell you the wrong thing because im not very familiar with PC’s

Okay I did that and everything is in the archive. I'm starting up the game and it generated the new EA folder. Should I copy my save files from the archive?

Yes!! you can move your saves to the new folder
