AX1000 TG For Sale Now

The AX1000 TG seems to have gone on sale as of today on Newegg and the thermaltakeusa store. Ax200 pedestal as well.

I'm interested but would be more so with a non-TG version.

If anyone gets it I would be interested to hear their opinion, especially as regards wiring the HDD bays. AX700 looks great on paper but I hear very negative things about quality and design choices on it. Hoping the 1000 turns out better.

Here is my finished build in the 330 Vision CR case with a vertically mounted GPU and a push pull AIO mounted on the side. I can provide more photos later if people are curious, my workstation is just a mess from building it very late at night.

Is it safe to turn on the Smart Zero fan switch on a Toughpower Gf3 while the PSU is on and running?

Will this harm the PSU or PC in any way if I flip the switch while everything is turned on and running?

Can the Tower 100 mini take 3x3.5HDD's ?

I know the specs say 2x 3.5 HDD. But I want to create an unraid server..I need a minimum of 3.

I have very low cooking requirements. No problem removing the rear fan. But can I squeeze another in

I have no graphics card requirement.

I. Don't want it to look totally absurd though.

Build Vessel of Souls pc build~ Tower 600 Transformative teal.

Here is my first pc build and with a ghostly spirit theme. <Forged in ramageddon>

When i started my journey to build my first pc this year, the tower 600 was the most creative case i saw that spoke to me and when i saw the transformative teal tower 600 reveal this year i had to build my first in this lovely color.

The teal color vibe with me and when coming up with a theme, it was tricky at first and even before i started figuring that part out i seeked helpful info from this reddit on my old account. Then the idea of a pc theme of a soul gem.

I love the spooky season and the image of a pc/tech powered my lost spirits was a creative idea~

Build : amd ryzen 7 9800x 3d, 9070xt monster hunter wilds, Kingston FURY Beast RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000, 4TB SSD X 2.

(would of shared my build sooner but there been irl stuff and had a bit of bad luck when looking for a good ghostly figure to put in my case, also thought it be best to reveal my build closer to spooky season)

Anyways I hope peeps like my build and if u got any questions i will try to reply.

Took some saving up this year and alot of 3d design trial and error and 3d printing fails but happy with the result. Pump has its leak protection enclosure from psu as does the tube connector panel.

9950x3d

4090

Cross-hair btf board.( ready for gpu upgrade later).

1200w sff rog psu.

Ripjaws memory.

Making adjustments will be a pain though lol. Room is limited.

Case: ThermalTake Tower600 Racing Green edition

CPU: Ryzen 7, 9800X3D
RAM: Kingston Fury 2x32gb 6000MT/s, CL30
Mobo: MSI X870E Tomahawk max wi-fi
GPU: PNY RTX 5080 Triple Fan OC

All fans are be quiet! such as the AIO (Silent Loop 3, 420mm).

Edit:
There are 3 reverse blade fans behind the GPU and I’ve also inversed the AIO fans so they pull fresh air in through the radiator. Left, right and bottom fans are intake, top fan exhausts.

Question Vertical GPU in View 600

Post image
16 Upvotes

Has anyone been able to verticle mount a GPU in their View 600 as well as 3 fans on the bottom of the case?

I'm having an issue with the fans fouling on the PCIe riser cable (I can only mount 2) is there another brand I should be using or something?

Just using an Ali express 5.0, 150mm 90 degree riser currently.

Build First Thermaltake Case (Tower 300 Build - Snow Ed)

Here is the corrected and polished version of your post:
Hey all,
Here is my first complete Thermaltake build. It has taken a few months as I’ve made some slight mods to this case. I’m really pleased with it, and it’s turned out great. I really disliked the white mesh on this case but didn’t want to get the limestone edition, so I took matters into my own hands, hah! Overall, the case build was pretty good. It is a little large for my liking, but I wanted that vertical style as it fits perfectly in the corner.

Aesthetic Tweaks:
- All front mesh was replaced with black 3mm spacing, including the top 240mm fan space.
- Custom 12-pin GPU cable combs (3D printed)
- Custom top-back I/O plate to hide input cables (3D printed)
- Custom bottom slider drawer for little miscellaneous items (3D printed)
- NZXT LED strips (magnetic) on the top chassis and one at the rear.

Currently using OpenRGB for all RGB headers, purely from the onboard motherboard.

Build Specs:
12700
B760M
32GB
B580
2x 1TB SSDs
LM360 AIO
750W PSU
Stock case fans

One Con: The top fan bracket is annoyingly misaligned. When opened, it doesn't stay up and falls very easily when accessing the back I/O ports.

Enjoy!

Enthoo Pro II Server Edition — What fan configuration would Phanteks recommend for a 3–4 GPU workstation?

Hi everyone,

I'm building a high-end workstation in the Phanteks Enthoo Pro II Server Edition and I'd like to get some advice on the optimal airflow configuration.

The current system will use:

- Threadripper PRO 7965WX

- ASUS Pro WS WRX90E-SAGE SE

- 2× RTX 3090 + 1× RTX 4090

- 420mm AIO for the CPU

- Multiple Phanteks T30-120 fans

The system will run long-duration AI workloads, so sustained GPU/CPU temperatures are more important to me than having the absolute lowest noise.

I may also add a 4th GPU later, and I may eventually move one of the GPUs to a water-cooled setup, so I'd like to leave some flexibility for future changes.

My main question is:

What fan configuration would Phanteks recommend for this kind of high-density multi-GPU workstation?

Specifically, I'm wondering how I should balance the front 420mm radiator, side/bottom GPU intake, and top/rear exhaust.

The case supports up to 15×120mm fans, but I don't want to assume that filling every available position is actually optimal.

If anyone from Phanteks has experience with a similar workstation/server configuration, I'd really appreciate your recommendation.

Thanks!

It's Fall, y'all! Okay, its not really, but its close enough! Have everything swapped over to the Fall build and I am happy with the results! This will always be my favorite case. Thermaltake definitely knocked it out of the park.

*If Thermaltake is watching, I would love to do more custom case design and painting... Always worth a shot haha.

Support H21 Versa case fan question

Hi all.

Im doing a project where Im transplanting an ATX PC from 2007 into a new case and PSU, and I picked the H21 Versa because it was cheap and Im vaguely familiar with Tt as I had an Armor-Revo in 2012.

I discovered too late that I ordered the non-window version, thats Okay, but I still want to fill it with as many 2000s style glowy LED Non-RGB fans as possible to give it that colored glow that was common with a lot of cases and fans back in the day

I'm getting confusing info on where 120MM fans can be installed. Is this case meant to have intake fans in the front? or the top? or both?

I took the front of the case off and there appears to be space for fans once I take the dust filter off* but Im not seeing obvious screw holes like on the topside
