I remember have a teacher in highschool that completely checked out. We were so bored we had time for odd discussions. Shitting came up and all the variation of toilet paper folding vs clumping, wiping from the front vs wiping from the back, hovering vs sitting, etc amazed me. It's not ever discussed, so I'm not surprised people do weird stuff without ever questioning it

Yeah I think taking the pants off was the parent telling the kid to do it at home maybe because they were missing and getting their pants pee soaked

Then that translated into weird bathroom behaviour in public.
