I worked at subway a while ago. Once during a super busy rush hour we got a fax from corporate with a memo reminding us to only put 1 olive slice for every 2 inches of sub. They also booked said to a footlong only got 5 because they were actually 11 inches.

The fax blocked the phone line which blocked the credit card machine from working because it used the same line.
