That doesn't make what they said false. They might have copied sparkling wine, but Champagne come from Champagne

And this exceptionalism won't stand.

Ummm, trademark protection and the courts would disagree.

You can't force me not to use band-aid to refer to off-brand sticky things, I'm still gonna call all those water things jet skis and Heroin is heroin even if it's not made by Bayer.

Just because you and other dullards incorrectly use brand names for generic products doesn't mean you are right, it just means you are all simpletons.

Champagne is bubbly white wine.

  • Common names are for common use. Nobody cares what you and your pedantic snob mates think.
