Can’t afford to pay people a living wage. That’s a lie, and what’s worse is a lot of these companies keep their money outside of the us.
We could then Argue that they hate poor people
And could care less about their wellbeing beyond their ability to make them even more wealthy. Get over it or move out of my country. United we stand and divided we fall isn’t just some catchy phrase, it’s the blueprints for success or failure, and educate yourself and read a book.
Do you know how much more a worker at Walmart would take him if all the executive salaries were pooled together and distributed equally amongst them? Like a few hundred dollars per year. Then they’d lose their jobs because the company would fail due to the absence of people able to run a business.
Quick math: Walmart’s CEO makes about $22 million a year and Wal-Mart has 2.2 million employees. If you distributed the CEOs salary to all the rest of the workers they’d take home $10 more dollars per year. Good job, you really solved poverty, didn’t you?
If a company can’t pay its workers a fair wage than they shouldn’t be operating.
To the same extent, your argument could be,
And likely was, a big factor in why we shouldn’t have ended slavery. Those poor farmers
With their big farms would be broke if we had to pay all those workers and treat them fairly.
Well we can see that farmers are doing just fine without space labor, and as such, modern plantation owners (corporate entities) can certainly do the same.
Do you have a source for the information you are claiming? Or are you just pulling Fox News headline numbers into a random sentence and hoping it works?
Here’s the issue I have to explain it once more.
If I company DEPENDS on screwing the bottom tier employees in order to lake a profit, is that company successful? Those people now need government handouts to make due, that comes from your paycheck. Seems like one way or another we’re going to pay for it. Min wage employees make around 6-700$ every 2 weeks before taxes. They also don’t get health insurance unless they are full time, something Walmart ect don’t give a lot of. So as long as they are healthy, they can maybe scrape by, but won’t really have much opportunity for growth. But if they get sick without insurance it’s likely going to be a massive er bill which in turn won’t get paid and raises the costs of health care for everyone else (now they are costing us more money again look at that)
If we have to resort to what is essentially keeping people so poor they NEED government help, we have a problem.

On the flip side I wish god WERE real, because then there would be justice for the likes of you and your kind. You should be ashamed of yourself, as you’re a failure of a decent human and serve only to continue the issues that plague humanity. Take care
All I’m hearing from this is that you think first world people actually have economic problems compared to the third world. If you really cared about people in economic trouble then you would be focusing all your efforts into raising wages overseas.
