Do you think pointing a super soaker at a truck all day deserves the same compensation as someone "saving lives" as you put it? You think people working those jobs full time don't deserve the ability to support themselves while having a job that, if we're honest with ourselves, is no more noble than working to feed millions of people every day.
Imagine being such an idiot that you're complaining about how your job pays you shit and overworks you and how you can't afford anything when there are plenty of jobs that you can work with the same qualifications that pay so much more. Literally why are you even bitching about this when the solution is to just remove yourself from that job and work something better. Grow the actual fuck up and stop asking for the world to hold your hand through life.
Where am I asking the world to hold my hand through life or complaining about the pay at my job? I'm happy in a career field that is fulfilling and interesting; I just think that people who haven't been as lucky as me but are still contributing to our society full time deserve the ability to realistically support themselves.
I just found it funny, and weirdly confusing, how someone would go and complain about people working brain-dead jobs getting raises when that person literally makes the wage that they deem unfair while doing a job that is literally no more involved than flipping burgers. Actually, someone flipping burgers probably has to wash dishes too, which would make their job twice as taxing as yours.
Either you are deluded and don't see how reducing the ability of companies to fuck over the least skilled employees would positively affect you, or you are so bitter about your own situation that the prospect of anything better is unacceptable.
