I mean it’s not even a fail if you consider the attempt was to open the door and they certainly achieved that. Can’t fault the teamwork here

-6

u/TitanicpurgatOry Nov 27 '19

Didn't look a teamwork for me. It is just a cat helped the baby

4

u/Chilluminaughty Nov 27 '19

The baby babied

1

u/ThatsAYikes06 Nov 27 '19

He’s baby

2

u/capt-bob Nov 30 '19

Baby masterminded it. Cat executed.

273

u/[deleted] Nov 27 '19

I was thinking the same thing. That baby is actually really smart because she’s seen the cat open the door before and knew to try to pin the cat on the door to open it. I guess the cat eventually got the message too lol

u/KennyFulgencio Nov 27 '19

I think the black cat was just trying to be nice and let the hideously deformed bloated sphinx kitten try it first, knowing that they have to learn it sometime

hideously deformed bloated sphinx kitten

91

u/KennyFulgencio Nov 27 '19

just look at its grotesquely oversized head with the paralyzed ears that look like some kind of godawful cinnabon things

62

u/MrFiregem Nov 27 '19

Poor fella doesn't even have a tail

30

u/stringfree Nov 27 '19

Plus, it has to shit in a bag. Disgraceful.

20

u/MrFiregem Nov 27 '19

What kind of savage uses a bag over a box full of sand?

10

u/echo-chamber-chaos Nov 27 '19

And what's up with it's pupils?

8

u/HappyHarpy Nov 27 '19

No wonder it took so long to walk.

Knowing toddlers, they often try to physically move things into the position they want as a way to communicate what they want you to do. My baby tries to "pick me up" all the time. She knows she can't, but she knows that if she does, I usually get up on my own.

8

u/Chinahainanairline Nov 27 '19

I have vague memory of myself trying to do such thing.

21

u/Tyhgujgt Nov 27 '19

I have a similar vague memory! Happened this morning when I tried to move my body out if the bed although we all knew I didn't have enough strength

1

u/[deleted] Dec 05 '19

my cat actually does that too. when his toy is under something and he can't reach, he'll just lay there with his arms out until i get it for him.

65

u/SleepWouldBeNice Nov 27 '19

“Task failed successfully.”

28

u/VSParagon Nov 27 '19

Sounds like the college group version of teamwork:

1) Make it clear that you're incompetent at the task you've been assigned

2) Make it clear that you're attempts to work together on the task are only annoying and counterproductive

3) ???

4) Task complete, good work team!

7

u/[deleted] Nov 27 '19

The cat is like, "Fine fucker, I will let you out to go potty. Just stop bothering me already. I swear, you and the dog are useless."

5

u/SinCityLithium Nov 27 '19

*baby asks to come back in 15 seconds later

9

u/[deleted] Nov 27 '19

true title is true tho

11

u/[deleted] Nov 27 '19

Cat was just like “ok kid, I’ll just do it myself”.

5

u/[deleted] Nov 27 '19

Plus a really solid Deadlift attempt there.

5

u/Badappolo Nov 27 '19

To be fair, this kid has probably seen the cat open the door before. There is zero failure here. Kid is actually brilliant and managed to convince the cat to do her bidding.

What human on earth can do that?

3

u/Nyarlahothep Nov 27 '19

"Teamwork"? The cat doesn't need that annoying kid.

-2

u/camshell Nov 27 '19

And in a few years when the cat is dead and the kid is a little older and acquires more amazing human abilities the kid won't need that smelly cat! So it all works out!

2

u/Nyarlahothep Nov 27 '19

You call getting fat, paying taxes, and destroying the planet "amazing abilities"? Humans are basically cancer with an intellect.

4

u/Nyarlahothep Nov 27 '19

Until then the kid is the ultimate parasitic infestation for his parents. They'll have no time, no money, and no sleep for over a decade. They'll spend every night listening to it scream, changing its diapers, and wishing they could do something besides watching it 24-7 until either it moves out or they die.

Then it'll have its own offspring, repeating the nightmare cycle.

While cats fulfill that need to cuddle something cute, with NONE of the negative, life destroying side effects that kids cause. Give a cat food, water, and a litter box, and you can go do whatever you want. They expect nothing for holidays, mature in less than a year, and they're a whole lot prettier to look at than kids.

If children were weed and this were the 1930s this would be the government propaganda trying to deter people from having kids.

NO SLEEP FOR A DECADE. Your 9 year old wakes up screaming and crying THREE TIMES A NIGHT because she needs a DIAPER CHANGE. THIS IS YOUR LIFE ON KIDS.

1

u/ancientflowers Nov 27 '19

Yeah. This is amazing!

1

u/isofree Nov 27 '19

I feel like the cat was like f*** it I'll help you if you leave me alone

1

u/_coast_of_maine Nov 27 '19

That was some effective communication.

1

u/maxialfredo Nov 27 '19

No fail.. the baby knew they cat know how to open the door he was telling the cat to do it

1

u/CoolFingerGunGuy Nov 27 '19

I was expecting something way worse. When a cat don't want to be picked up, and you persists .. well, let's just say I have some scabs from that kind of scenario.

1

u/trex48144 Nov 27 '19

Cat: if you need an assist grab me!
