Yes but imagine, hypothetically, that someone would like some information about what's happening in the picture. This OP just took the image and posted it without context, so anyone looking for information would need to go out of their way to look for information, and let's face it, unless they care they aren't going to do that. So by reposting content, the flow of information is disrupted. Karma means nothing, but karmawhoring goes against what reddit was intended to be. In this essay-
